NZ2.0

The first place I went looking for the application of Web 2.0 was in the education field thinking that those in education wuld be first off the mark. So after looking on the links on the CCL Internet Gateway I found was an RSS feed link on the Ministry of Education website. I thought the Te Kete Ipurangi site would have something but no! The Career Services had a link to follow them on twitter which was great.
AUT had 5 Rss feeds on different things, massey Uni had Encore ....and that is all I had time for.
NZ Live has blogs, RSS feeds, own account with people's preferences - this is certainly tailored to people to make it their own to suit them. The Museums are sharing within themselves and provide tags for searching as well as allow th public to add tags to a record. The Horowhenua District library has a Kete of their local history which people can add to. This is a great way to tap into local knowledge and resources. I think Matapihi could work like hat as well and allow the public to create records of their own old pictures, sound recordings etc and tag them.
